UTMC Practical Peer to Peer Knowledge Exchange on Resilience of Urban Energy Systems

Urban Transition Mission Peer Exchange #3 – Building Resilient Urban Energy Systems The Urban Transition Mission Centre (UTMC) invites you to the third session in our peer exchange series, dedicated to exploring innovative pathways for urban transition. This series promotes collaboration, knowledge exchange, and actionable strategies to accelerate the shift toward sustainable, climate-neutral, and resilient cities. This session focuses on resilient urban energy systems—exploring how cities can ensure access to affordable, reliable energy even in the face of disruptions like climate-related hazards and technological failures. We will examine how energy systems can adapt, recover, and support vulnerable populations while contributing to long-term climate neutrality. Featuring insights from Quito and Yokohama, this session provides practical approaches and an interactive platform for city representatives, practitioners, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experiences.
