Best and Worst Practices in Local Energy Transition

Presented during the NetZeroCities Spring School, this resource shares real-world city experiences from Athens, Bratislava, Differdange and Lappeenranta, highlighting both successful energy transition practices and implementation challenges. It covers examples such as heating management in municipal care facilities, solar PV deployment on public buildings, energy-efficient renovation, urban energy planning, multi-level governance, citizen engagement, and barriers to scaling renewable energy.
