This interactive session explored opportunities and challenges for cities interested in implementing SMRs technologies for District Heating. DG RTD provided an introductory presentation on the EU policy context and the role of SMRs in the energy mix, followed by concrete examples of ongoing and planned SMR projects from cities and stakeholders.
