When: 30 October 2025 | 13:15 - 14:45 CET
Duration: 1 hr 30 min
This course provides a practical guideline on how to reduce the energy demand of buildings through passive design solutions, focusing on key local climatic factors such as temperature (°C), humidity (g/kg), ventilation (m³/h) and wind direction ( °), and on how the most appropriate actions can be implemented across European climates, using simulated values from three representative cities and climate zones (cold, temperate and hot). Through INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES, participants will learn to identify the most effective passive measures adapted to their specific Euroepan climate context.

Session Tips:
- Participation in the session will take place through INTERACTIVE APPLICATIONS. No verbal interaction between participants is expected during the main activities
- It is recommended to KEEP CAMERA ON, as seeing one another helps create a more friendly and engaging atmosphere, even without speaking
- MICROPHONES SHOULD REMAIN MUTED throughout the session to avoid background noise.
- MICROPHONES WILL BE ACTIVATED ONLY DURING THE QUESTIONS ROUND, when each city will have the opportunity to speak and share reflections with the others.
Session Shedule:
By the end of the module participants will:
- Reference Guide on Passive Measures
- Session Presentation Slide
- Best Practice Case Studies
