CDRI Urban Infrastructure Resilience Programme
The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) is a global partnership of national governments, UN agencies, multilateral development banks, financing institutions, private sector, academic and knowledge institutions that aims to promote the resilience of infrastructure systems to climate and disaster risks, thereby ensuring sustainable development. CDRI’s Infrastructure Resilience Accelerator Fund (IRAF) is the Multi-Partner Trust Fund (MPTF) established with the support of the United Nations to implement the Vision and Strategic Workplan of the Coalition. CDRI promotes development of resilient infrastructure which supports economic growth and social development and is key to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, endorsed by 193 countries.
CDRI is launching the First Call for Proposals of Urban Infrastructure Program with focus on Flood and Heat resilience.
This Call for Proposals aims to support cities in Low- and Middle-Income Countries’ and Small Island Developing States in the application of data, tools, and knowledge leading to disaster resilient urban infrastructure.

This Call for Proposals supports cities in developing disaster-resilient infrastructure across energy, social infrastructure, transportation, and water sectors, through technical assistance.
The funding ranges from $150,000 – $ 500,000 for a single city proposal to $250,000 - $750,000 for a multi-city proposal (within same country)
The duration of the program is 12 - 24 months from award to implementation and the deadline for submissions is 23 December 2024, 23:59 GMT
